About West Riding of Yorkshire IA

West Riding of Yorkshire IA is a local branch of IA, the Ileostomy and Internal Pouch Support Group. We aim to help individuals who have had their colon removed who live in the Leeds, Bradford, Airedale and Wakefield areas of West Yorkshire.

IA was launched in 1956 and there has been a local group in Leeds, Bradford, Airedale and Wakefield since the 1970's. Working together with local healthcare professionals, we aim to provide first hand support to people who have had, or are facing, surgery to remvove their colon (the large bowel).
